Erin Lequereux
Manual Osteopathic Therapist
Erin Lequereux, MOT
Manual Osteopathic Therapist
With a foundation in movement and performance, Erin began her first career as a professional dancer, earning her B.A. in Dance at the University of Calgary, with a specialization in ballet at the School of Alberta Ballet and performing across Canada and the United States. Years of dedication to the art of dance offered rich experiences on stages, but also came with the physical demands and injuries common to the profession.
It was through one such injury that Erin was introduced to osteopathy—a turning point that sparked a deep, personal interest in the body’s natural healing capacity. This discovery eventually led to a transition from performance to practice, as she began to study the principles of osteopathy at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, completing over 1,500 hours of total hands-on training, including 1000 hours of supervised clinical experience and over 4,200 curriculum hours.
What draws Erin deeply to osteopathy is its rational, anatomy-based approach to understanding the body. Grounded in the sciences of structure and function, osteopathy offers logical, evidence-informed explanations for symptomatology—connecting the dots between dysfunction, compensation, and the body’s adaptive responses.
Driven by a commitment to helping the individual, Erin integrates a grounded, compassionate approach to healing, combining the knowledge of anatomy with the therapeutic power of manual application. Her work is informed by anatomical and physiological sciences (and how they inform each other), her years as an investigator of movement, and a strong belief in the body’s ability to self-adjust, self-regulate and self-heal when given the right support.
