Laser Therapy is a non-invasive, painless treatment which uses focused light at specific wavelengths to speed up the healing process and reduce or eliminate pain from injuries and chronic conditions. The laser light stimulates the mitochondria (energy powerhouses) in all types of cells - muscle, bone, tendon, ligament, blood, etc. - causing the cells to work faster and more optimally. Increasing the efficiency and speed at which your cells function has a profound effect on tissue healing.
Results of laser treatment can often be felt after three treatments. Acute injuries, like a recently sprained ankle, or a headache, will often feel better immediately after the first treatment, or within a few hours. For a full resolution of more chronic conditions 10 or more treatments may be required.
The duration of your laser therapy session varies depending on the condition, your skin type, and your sensitivity to light therapy. Most of our laser sessions are under 15 minutes in duration.

Along these lines, we recommend booking 3 laser appointments in your first week to ensure you get the best results and feel a signficant improvement in your symptoms in that first week.
