Part-time Clinic Administrator
Margarita cares to create meaningful and relevant experiences. That is why she has found herself in the field of customer service and administration for the health care sector. Supporting Energize Health's mission for pain free body (and thus vital living) is particularly valuable to her because of her own direct experiences of well-being through dance, somatic movement practice and now manual therapy. "Clinic Administrator" does not exactly describe her role (because most office tasks are automized in our modern age.) Instead call her a "Connection Administrator" who works to ensure that the clinic's patients, visitors, practitioners and staff are inter-connected in order to move towards health goals with transparency and efficiency.
Over the past five years Margarita has also ensured authentic communication at Sincere Acupuncture and Repsol Sports Centre, as well as taught movement analysis and contact improvisation dance at University of Calgary. She also volunteers as a director at Contact Improv Calgary, administrating and facilitating embodiment based movement sessions and workshops. Wearing multiple hats of an independent artist, movement teacher, self-promoter, event organizer and workshop administrator has gifted her with an ability to be both, emphatic and task-oriented.
Margarita holds a Bachelor's Degree in Dance from the University of Calgary, a post graduate certificate in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis from Integrated Movement Studies and is currently completing a 3000 hour training in Registered Massage Therapy at MaKami College.
