Dr. Caitlyn Cameron’s approach to Chiropractic care is evidence informed, combining cutting edge research and her own clinical experience. Her specialties include spinal and extremity adjusting, Webster Technique (most commonly used in prenatal treatment), Active Release Technique (ART), Graston Technique, and kinesiology taping. She enjoys treating all ages, serious injuries or minor aches and pains, helping each patient live a more active and healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Cameron believes that every patient and every condition is unique. She works with her patients to create a customized treatment plan, taking into consideration her patient’s goals and current health status, to achieve the best possible outcome.
Raised in Calgary, Dr. Cameron has been a chiropractic patient herself since she was a small child. She has seen the benefits of chiropractic care throughout her life, most notably representing Canada throughout her competitive archery career. Chiropractic care and ART helped her shoot archery at a high level for many years and kept her functioning to the best of her ability. Regular care helped minimize the negative effects of strenuous training, and helped her heal more quickly when she did face injuries.
A passionate learner, Dr. Cameron completed a Bachelor of Science in Honours Physiology from the University of Alberta in Edmonton. It was during this program that she discovered her fascination with the human body and its incredible ability to heal. Her love of learning took her to Portland Oregon and the University of Western States, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and graduated summa cum laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Cameron also has a busy life outside of the clinic. She enjoys yoga, hiking, camping, weight lifting and even plays the saxophone in a jazz band. She is still very passionate about archery and can often be found shooting or coaching at the local archery range.
